Moroccan Magic: 8-Day Tour from Marrakech

Embark on an enchanting 8 day tour from Marrakech. starting from the vibrant city of Marrakech, Morocco. This adventure promises a diverse blend of culture, history, and natural beauty, as you explore the rich tapestry of this North African nation. Join us as we delve into the details of this remarkable expedition.

When you arrive to Marrakech, we pick you up from the airport. then we drive through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Which is one of the most scenic routes in Morocco. This pass connects Marrakech to Ouarzazate and offers stunning views of the Atlas Mountains. then we visit Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Located on the outskirts of Ouarzazate. Ait Ben Haddou is an ancient. Fortified village made of earthen buildings that has been featured in many movies. Including Gladiator and Game of Thrones. then we head to “The gate of the desert” ouarzazate. We have dinner and spend the night in a hotel.

You enjoy the morning breakfast, then we start exploring Ouarzazate. First of all, we pay a visit to the Taourirt Kasbah. Then we explore the Atlas Film Studios, one of the largest film studios in the world. Many famous movies, such as Lawrence of Arabia and The Mummy, were filmed there.
Afterwards, we head towards the palm groves of Skoura, a beautiful oasis town that is surrounded by palm groves. it is famous for its Kasbahs mainly the Amridil Kasbah that dates back to the 17th century and is a great example of Moroccan architecture.
Finaly we drive to Boulmane Dades, a small town that is in the Dades Valley, and it is surrounded by breathtaking landscapes. Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel.

After eating breakfast, we drive to Todra Gorges, a natural wonder, famous for its towering canyon walls and crystal-clear river that flows through it. You can take a walk along the river, climb the canyon walls, or simply admire the beauty of the surroundings.
In the afternoon, we drive to Erfoud, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Once we arrive in Merzouga, you embark on a camel trek to the desert camp. Along the way, you witness a breathtaking sunset over the dunes. At the camp, you enjoy a traditional Berber tent overnight stay and can try a delicious traditional dinner under the stars while listening to live Berber music around the campfire.

You start your day early with a camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes. you reach the top of one of the dunes to watch the sunrise, which is a breathtaking experience that you don’t want to miss. After taking in the beautiful views, you return to the campsite for breakfast.
After breakfast, we explore the dunes and visit some of the nearby attractions, like the fossil beds and the abandoned mines. Then we have a sit with nomads in their handmade woven tent. Discover their lifestyle while enjoying the Berber tea.
We also visit the nearby Khamlia village, known for its Gnawa music and dance. You can learn about the history and traditions of the Gnawa people and enjoy their lively performances.
After lunch, we pay a visit to a palm grove. Later, we head towards the wild lake of merzouga. Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel.

First destination after breakfast is Rissani town. the ancient ksar (fortified village) of Sijilmassa, which was once an important center for the trans-Saharan trade. Rissani is also famous for its traditional souk, we
We take lunch in Midelt city. Then we visit the Cedar Forest is home to Barbary macaques, a species of monkey that is native to North Africa, you can see these playful creatures up close while strolling through the forest. After exploring the Cedar Forest, we move on to Ifrane, a charming town that is famous for its European-style architecture and its ski resort. Finaly, we head over Fes for overnight stay.

After breakfast, we begin the exploration of the royal palace gate, then the old town of Fes, also known as the Medina, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. you enter the medina accompanied by a local guide to visit two Islamic and historical schools in Fes : the Bou Inania and the Al-Attarine that date back to the 14th century, the najjarine fountain the tanneries in addition to the Quaraouin mosque and universtiy which is considered to be the oldest university in the world.
You can’t come to fes without visiting the the old Jewish quarter of Fes “the mellah”, it’s worth visiting to see the Jewish cemetery, the Synagogue Ibn Danan, and to learn about the history of the Jewish community in Morocco.
You end your day by watching the sunset from the Borj Nord, a fortress that overlooks the city and offers a stunning panoramic view.

We make our way to Meknes, a historic city located about an hour’s drive southwest of Fes.
Once in Meknes, we head to the medina, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Here you can explore the winding streets, visit the souks (markets), and see historic landmarks like the Bab Mansour gate and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail.
After spending some time in Meknes, head to the ancient Roman city of Volubilis. This archaeological site is located about 30 minutes north of Meknes and is home to some of the best-preserved Roman ruins in North Africa.
Finaly, head to the picturesque, blue-washed town of Chefchaouen. This charming town is nestled in the Rif Mountains and is famous for its blue-painted buildings and winding streets. Spend some time exploring the medina and admiring the stunning views of the surrounding mountains. we stay the night there in a hotel.

After breakfast, depending on your flight time, you are free to enjoy the beautiful streets of the blue pearl. on our way to tangier airport, you can’t but admire the riff mountains.
