Day 01 : Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Draa – M’hamid
Departure of your 2-day excursion from Marrakech to M’hamid from your hotel/riad. Departure at 7:00 a.m., heading to the Tizn’t Tichka Pass, at an altitude of 2,260 m. We cross this mountain range to discover the colors of the High Atlas and the Berber villages. After the pass, we take the road to Telouet, a route to the Aït Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After visiting the site, we enjoy lunch at a restaurant. We continue to Ouarzazate, through the Tizin Tinififte, a port at an altitude of 1,600 meters, and into the marvelous Draa Valley.
Just before arriving in Agdez and Zagora, we stop to rest. We arrive at the M’Hamid Desert, a camel trek through the dunes to watch the sunset, which makes the experience even more magical. We spend the night in a comfortable bivouac… only the shower is outside. The evening is spent at the M’Hamid Desert Bivouac, where we will be served dinner by the warmth of a campfire and typical desert music. We also invite you to escape the noise and enjoy the majestic silence that surrounds the desert.
Day 02 : M’Hamid – Zagora – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
Early in the morning, the sunrise in the desert is one of the unique and unforgettable experiences of this desert excursion. Afterwards, we will have breakfast. We will then return by car. Heading towards Agdz and Zagora, before arriving in Ouarzazate for lunch. In the afternoon, we will return to Marrakech, arriving around 8:00 p.m. This marks the end of your 2-day excursion from Marrakech to the M’Hamid Desert.
